東京香堂の香りにインスパイアされ、画家の真鍋由伽子が描き下ろした版画作品。重層的な香りのイメージを捉えるべく、リトグラフという技法で、数種類の色版を重ねて作られています。香りが連れて行ってくれる先の世界の、想像上の景色を描いた作品は、現実と非現実の狭間のような、不思議な浮遊感を醸しています。

Inspired by the fragrance of Tokyo Kodo, painter Yukako Manabe created this artwork. In order to capture the multilayered image of the fragrance, the prints are made by layering several different color plates using the lithograph technique. The work depicts an imaginary view of the world beyond where the fragrance takes us, creating a mysterious sense of floating between reality and unreality.
